July 4, 2014 Parades - Lincoln & Auburn, CA

Happy Independence Day!  Daphne and her sister Rachel participated in the Lincoln parade in the morning and the Auburn parade in the evening.  They enjoyed celebrating Independence Day!

4th of July Celebration, Lincoln, CA

Daphne enjoyed a 4th of July celebration with the residents of Villa del Rey in Lincoln, CA.  She brought cookies and cider which they all enjoyed during their bingo games.  What a fun afternoon!

Yard Sale to Support Alzheimer's Association, Auburn, CA

Daphne collected items from friends and family to put together a yard sale.  All proceeds were donated to the Alzheimer's Association.  What a successful event!

Auburn Cruise Night - Auburn, CA

Daphne and her sister Rachel attended the Auburn Cruise Night.  They enjoyed wandering and looking at the exotic old cars and socializing with the community members.  The girls even found this Tow-Mater truck! 

Cinco de Mayo Celebration in Auburn, CA

Daphne and her sister Rachel attended the Cinco de Mayo celebration in Auburn, CA.  They enjoyed the music and had fun riding the mechanical bull!

Easter Baskets - Newcastle, CA

Daphne and her sister Rachel helped to make Easter baskets for a nearby nursing home.

Easter Party - Lincoln, CA

Daphne and her sister Rachel threw an Easter party for the residents of the nursing home where they volunteer each week.  They played bingo and served cookies and cider.  What a fun time!

Down Syndrome Carnival at Placer County Fairgrounds

On April 12, 2014, Daphne assisted with the Down Syndrome Carnival at the Placer County Fairgrounds. She was in charge of running the bubble station.

 

Toy Clean Up Project's Annual Golf Tournament to Support St. Jude's

On April 11, 2014, Rachel and Daphne helped at the Toy Clean Up Project's annual Golf Tournament that raises funds for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. They ran the putting contest and assisted with the raffle at the end of the night.

Snack Bar to Support Alzheimer's Association

On April 5, 2014, Daphne and Rachel ran the snack bar at the West Coast Regional Pageant in Auburn,CA. The snack bar was a fundraiser for their platform, the Alzheimer's Association.

Toys for Placer Receiving Home

Daphne collected toys to donate to the Placer Receiving Home.  She understands that sometimes just a little something special can help to make someone's day a bit brighter.

Snack Bar to Support LLS at Valentine's Pageant

For Valentine's Day, Daphne was privileged to run another snack bar to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Alzheimer's Association.

Snack Bar at Snow Queen Pageant

On January 18, 2014, Daphne ran a snack bar to benefit the Alzheimer's Association at the West Coast Pageants Snow Queen Pageant.

Happy New Year 2014!

Happy New Year from Daphne, Rachel and Villa del Rey!  On New Year’s Day, Daphne & Rachel hosted a bingo game and New Year’s party serving sweets & apple cider.
